Located in the heart of central Maine, The Ice Shack is a 27×40-foot ice training facility uniquely designed for hockey and skating skill development. This rink is a first of its kind in the region and serves as the home base for The Mental Goalie. Our mission is to develop the next generation of hockey players and strengthen the hockey community in Maine. The Ice Shack offers personalized, hands-on training in a setting where players can refine their craft and grow their skills.
ICE RENTAL
Looking for a real ice surface for your training? Our rink is available for hourly rental, with custom packages available to fit your schedule. Whether you’re a coach, shooter, skater, or figure skater, this space is designed for focused, high-level training in a private setting.
THE MENTAL GOALIE
The Ice Shack is home to The Mental Goalie, Maine’s year-round premier goalie training program. Focused on mindset, skill development, and game readiness, we help goalies become confident, technically sound athletes. Join us for private lessons, semi-private training, and small group clinics!
